The World Bank is conducting a Workshop with Maurice Stratégie on The Fiscal Incidence Analysis and Tool led by Mario Negre (Senior Economist) and Juan Manuel Monroy (Consultant). 🤝
The Fiscal Incidence Analysis tool provides an overview of poverty and distributional impacts of government’s entire fiscal process, from taxation to transfers and subsidies in areas covered under the Commitment to Equity Methodology.
The tool allows for users to test the potential impact of changes in some of the parameters determined by the type of government intervention.
Officials from the Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning and Development, Maurice Stratégie, Statistics Mauritius, Ministry of Social Integration, Social Security and National Solidarity and the Mauritius Revenue Authority are participating in the workshop.
