Training Workshop on the Macroeconomic Model for Forecasting and Policy Simulation for Mauritius 11-14 July 2023
United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) in collaboration with Maurice Stratégie, conducted a training workshop from 11 – 14 July 2023 on the use of a macroeconomic modelling tool designed to support forecasting and policy simulation.
UNECA through its Macroeconomic Governance and Policy Division (MGD), has been working with Maurice Stratégie to customize the ECA macroeconomic model for Mauritius and provide capacity building support for the effective use of the tool.
The training saw the participation of officials from Maurice Stratégie, Economic Development Board Mauritius and Statistics Mauritius.
